This policy explains how Paye AI and its operator ("Paye AI", "we", "us") handle personal information, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Your calculations stay on your device

The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The income and figures you enter to work out your take-home pay are not sent to us, and not stored by us.

What we collect

• Analytics — anonymous, aggregated usage (pages viewed, broad location, device type) to understand and improve the site. No personal financial data.
• Advertising — we may serve ads (e.g. Google AdSense), which can set cookies to show relevant ads and measure performance. See Cookies.
• Anything you send us — e.g. your email address if you contact us.

Why we collect it

To run and improve the site, and to show ads that fund the free tool.

Third parties

We use service providers including Google (analytics and ads) and Firebase Hosting (Google). They process data under their own privacy terms. If you visit from outside New Zealand, other privacy laws may also apply via these providers.

Retention & security

We keep personal information only as long as needed and take reasonable steps to protect it.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@payeai.co.nz.
